in 2006 dutch huiz voor de democratie (house 4 democracy) wuz founded. i has been programme director frm beginnin. my colleague roel in ‘t veld... forma state secretary n current professor... statd in hiz lates inaugural speech that representativ democracy may has served us well in past... but haz become obsolete. mission uv our huiz voor de democratie iz 2 demonstrate that democracy iz more than occasional run 2 ballot n 2 reinvent democracy as we know it. scalez has become 2 big (global) n 2 small (local) in netwurked societee 2 let opportunitiez 4 participation go by. representation seemz 2 fit inbetween size that doen not appli anymore.

gardenz... psychology n leadership
i garden. more in theory than in practice. but i garden. 4 year... i harboured hopez uv bountiful harves frm my tiny vegetable patch. several summertime pregnanciez n phd has led 2 less than impressiv vegetable harves... tho i not b accused uv not havin been productiv in otha areas. well... thiz weekend... chaos happened – hailstorm struk. hailstonez as large as pingpongballz redecoratd our car bonnet n wiped out vegetable patch. depressin. everythin flattened... berry branchez snapped... fruit knocked frm treez. clearli not ‘complex’ – no amount uv safe-fail experimentation could has helped me see thiz emergent phenomenon. crisiz task force iz me... my husband... broom... rake n secateur. so far... so good. 1-off chaotic event. but how would i manage if exposed 2 seriez uv hailstormz... locust plaguez... drought n rampant mole attackz??! cry... giv up... persist??!

two thing 4 now. first iz more uv comment on irene 'aha!!??!! moment in development sector'. i can realli recommend narrativ policy analysiz by emery roe (duke universitee press... durham/london...1994). thiz book elaboratez on benefit frm applyin contemporary literary theory 2 policy analysiz usin case studiez in environmental n development policiez. on page 5 it promisez= "by establishin n fixin assumptionz 4 decision makin... these narrativez enable government n donor agenciez 2 make n implement developin country policy unda conditionz uv extreme uncertaintee n complexitee". second iz wtf haz been puzzlin me since i attended accreditation course in london thiz year. educatd in soshl sciencez n in linguisticz... i recognize lot in course... but wonda why vocabulary iz so different. has i missed point sumwhere??! iz there difference between ambiguatd filta n semantic differenshl??! between taggin n codin??! n if so... wtf iz difference??! or iz it all just semanticz??!
