i wuz in town on friday mornin... on my day off... n tried 2 get sum money frm atm but not. i txtd colleague 2 ask if he got hiz salary yet n he had... so i went hoem 2 chek my bank statement... which i hadn't done in while.
i found out sumone in dominican republic had been drawin money frm my account... between june 19 n june 25. they did thiz until account maxed out... robbin me uv little ova 2...000 euro.
i called bank
n wuz told my card had probabli been 'skimmed'. criminalz tampa wit
atm 2 scan ur card when u use it... n use camera 2 record
ur pin code. it probabli happened at atm in my street. i wuz told i should cova my finga wit my otha hand wheneva i punch in my pincode in future.
bank cancelled card n startd 'case'... in which they investigate
matta n contact bank in dominic republic 2 ask 4
camera footage... etc. i wuz told 2 go 2 police 2 report crime
n then hand in copy uv police statement 2 my local bank branch. which i did... afta i had good cry.
apparentli i wil get my money eventualli... as bank r insured against thiz kind uv thin... but i'm sure thiz wil take agez.
in meantime... once i get card... i'll has 2 dip in2 my saving 2 get by thiz month. n hope not 2 many bilz come in while account iz stil emptee. needless 2 say i iz wishin hell n damnation on entire dominican republic.
next day i clicked wrong file n then spent most uv day tryin 2 rid my computa uv most persistent malware i eva come across... it took agez 2 find rite fix.
